Seller Legal Notice
LEGAL NOTICE & COMPLIANCE DIRECTIVE FOR SELLERS
Effective Date: May 2026
Applicability: All registered merchants, vendors, and marketplace sellers on Sashroye.com.bd.
This Legal Notice constitutes a binding agreement between Sashroye Bangladesh (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform") and the registered Merchant/Seller (hereinafter referred to as "the Seller"). Failure to comply with the directives outlined below will result in immediate suspension of the seller account and legal escalation under the digital commerce laws of Bangladesh.
1. Authentic Products & Anti-Counterfeiting Policy
Strict Prohibition: Sellers are strictly prohibited from listing, selling, or distributing counterfeit, fake, replica, or unauthorized duplicate products on Sashroye.
Product Description: All product listings must display accurate titles, descriptions, specifications, and prices. Misleading descriptions constitute a direct breach of consumer trust and platform policy.
Intellectual Property: Sellers must ensure they possess the necessary rights, licenses, or brand authorizations to sell the listed products. Infringement of third-party intellectual property or copyright will result in legal action.
2. Pricing, Consumer Protection & Transparency
Fair Pricing: Prices listed on the platform must be final, transparent, and inclusive of applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise. Artificial price inflation or deceptive discounts are strictly monitored.
Consumer Rights Law: In accordance with the Consumers' Right Protection Act, 2009 of Bangladesh, sellers are legally obligated to provide genuine products and fulfill orders as committed.
3. Order Fulfillment & Logistics Compliance
Dispatch Timeline: Sellers must process, pack, and hand over ordered products to Sashroye’s designated logistics partners within the standard stipulated timeline.
Packaging Standards: Products must be securely packed to prevent damage during transit, maintaining the premium presentation standards of the platform.
4. Prohibited & Restricted Items
Sellers are strictly barred from displaying or selling any illegal, hazardous, or restricted items under the laws of Bangladesh, including but not limited to:
Expired or unsafe consumables.
Unlicensed health products or medication.
Any item promoting social disharmony, hatred, or violating the Digital Security Act / Cyber Security Act of Bangladesh.
5. Indemnification & Penalties
Seller Liability: The Seller agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sashroye Bangladesh from any claims, damages, losses, or legal liabilities arising from product quality defects, delayed delivery, or fraudulent activity.
Account Action: Sashroye reserves the right to freeze seller payouts, withhold balances, or permanently terminate accounts found violating these legal terms. Legal authorities may be notified in severe cases of financial fraud or counterfeit distribution.
Acknowledgment and Agreement
By registering and maintaining an active merchant account on Sashroye, you hereby acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Legal Notice and the comprehensive terms of the digital marketplace ecosystem.
